MATH 215 gives students a working knowledge and understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics and how statistics is applied in the sciences, social sciences, and business.

Mathematics 315: Methods in Applied Statistics is a three-credit intermediate-level course designed to enable students to develop familiarity with various parametric and nonparametric tests and to gain the knowledge and skills needed to apply statistical concepts to solve applied problems. Students will learn the logic, procedures and the use of common statistical techniques using one of the most commonly used statistical package: SPSS for Windows.

PHYS 200 is a junior, algebra-based course that provides an introduction to mechanics. PHYS 200 combined with either PHYS 201 or PHYS 202 gives the equivalent of one year in introductory physics able to be matched to offerings at other institutions.
